Now think he was clapping at Pique and pointing to Presidents box as if mocking out of his ambition to be in there.

Dont think it was aimed at officials.

Nah, clearly Ramos gesture pointing at Presidents box was to show that he believes the referee was on Barca's side. Ramos is wrong, his two-footed challenge on Messi was a dangerous one and also from what I saw he was the last line of defence. Also sparing Casemiro the second yellow card played it's part in the aftermath.

Not sure.

He was aiming verbals at Pique and seemed to be looking at him when clapping.

Cant tell for sure either way.

I don't know, either.

It's just that it doesn't makes sense arguing with Pique right at this moment about Gerard's presidential ambitions.:pique1:

It's both. If you hear his words after the game, you can see he feels Pique's words have influenced the referees to somehow hurt RM. So to me, he is clapping at both Pique for influencing the ref, and the ref himself for being influenced.

In any case, it clearly a reaction to the refereeing decision and just as the RFEF cannot tell the exact motive of Neymar's clapping, just that it was a reaction to the refereeing decision, so they cannot tell the exact motive of Ramos clapping, just that it too was a reaction to the refereeing decision.

If they were to be consistent, both would have to be punished accordingly.

However they wont be, as Ramos' reaction was unsurprisingly omitted from the refs report.
