Messi contract expires in 2018 and Suarez and Rakitic contract in 2019. How are they higher priority than? Messi contract should be above all, they should first sort that out and than everyone else. I really don't understand this, either they are 100% confident he will extend or they are idiots.

They must want to sell him. Nobody can watch Messi and Suarez this season and decide Suarez is more important to keep. Suarez is on a longer contract and the same age and performing like shit. Messi is the best ever player and around his peak.

The club is mad. If they do want to keep him at least the stories about City sniffing around and him leaving will wake them up.
