I hope his stays from a Barca point of view but why should he stay and carry this team and have 5 defenders on him all the time and have to put with a fading team?

There was this Instagram post Messi made a while ago where either Thiago or Mateo (can't recall which) were watching this interactive English program for kids. It seemed like they understood what was being said as when the narrator told them to clap their hands for example they were able to follow the instructions.

Also, I wouldn't worry about Messi or Anto being unable to make friends at City since there is a decent South American contingent at the club.

He is also very close with Augero, who has been one of his very best friends since he was quite young.

City also have Bravo his former teammate and Otamendi, his NT teammate.

The only downside for Messi would probably be trading in the weather and lifestyle of Barcelona for that of Manchester, a major downgrade IMO and having to learn English.
