Stop playing him with strikers and he will score for fun again. False 9 with two wingers providing width for him is how you get the best out of him, not playing two forwards operating right beside him.

Messi certainly has many midfielder attributes and does it well at times but he is not a true midfielder and when he plays too deep (because our and Argentina's midfield can't create anything) he tends to struggle. He really should be where he belongs and that is being closer to the goal.
Decided to play like his buddy Suarez today. But the team bailed him out and not the other way round like it usually is. Pizarro was quite dominant against him.
Quite weird because this was probably the most open game this season and he had more space than usual. Hope he bounces back next game.
