Teams are sitting 20/30 yds higher up the park as no pace to run in behind although Paco offers some of that when comes on.

Dembele back should make a big difference and allow him to get nearer the goal again.

He's been rubbish ever since Suarez came back into the side, and he's got a knack for passing it off when there are shooting opportunities.

He must surely know he's miles ahead of everyone else on the pitch, that gives him entitlement to be a bit selfish at times. Making the right pass for him is often than not just wasting a chance. He doesn't have the players from 2008-2015 around him anymore.

Sorry but that is excuses a fair bit there.

Messi is trying too many risky passes and giving it away too often and that is on him to choose when to do it.
