Despite the poor start, Ronaldo’s has more goals this season than he did at the same time last year.

Hopefully Messi can get back to some scoring form.

Because Messi isn't any old player, this is quite possibly the greatest player to ever kick a football. What he's done since 2007 is stuff of legends, and up until 2013 most people had the view he was up there with Maradona/Pele if not better. Since 2014 Ronaldo has burst that bubble, doesn't matter who his team mates are (Real fans will cite to the fact pre-2014 he didn't have Xaviesta), he's completely re-tooled his game to just scoring goals, and you know what, those important goals that have led to 3 of the last 4 CL's. For all the great individual displays Messi puts up, it takes a shit performance and Ronaldo goal to over-shadow it.

Messi could be out of sight in Pichichi as well. He has missed a lot of chances in past few months.

The team winning should always be number one priority. To even argue that is ridiculous.

He is fantastic, pure genious. I think it's first time that Messi such goal from free kick. Don't remember anything similar from him previously.

Scored one like that against Uruguay (I think) a couple of years ago. Was during their WC qualifiers for the 2014 WC at least.
