He looked bad yesterday. So many bad passes, timings. It looked like someone else, not Messi. Give him more rest If he needs it. He should certainly not play vs Leganes.

Rest for what? he rested 17 days and now is off rhythm. He needs game time, the rest has ruined his form.

most of them became barca fans when messi and barca were sweeping the individual and team awards, respectively.
now that it's CR7 and madrid's turn, they can't fathom the heat.
CR7 and real fans lived through messi winning the ballon d'or 4 successive times and real getting demolished by barca on the regular. i'm not sure what the meltdown is about or how one achieving great things detracts from the other's legacy. it's not a zero sum game and if anything the last 10-12 years are proving is that we are fortunate to be watching 2 of the top 5 players ever taking football to new frontiers.

What change in form? He scores pretty much every game. We play 2 forwards one of which is Suarez who can't even play a simple one-two, our attack is pathetic and Messi is expected to do everything. I'd love to see Messi as a false 9 and Suarez on the bench/sold next season

Suarez ruins our chances more than he scores. All our excellent build up plays are squandered by him. Hope he trains hard and improve his short passes and one touch passes before CL final.

Messi's been in great form this season. Not doing (very) well (up to his standards) in last 2 games, cameo vs Sevilla and vs Roma.
If people talk about his form, they're referring to these 2.

Let's hope we reach the final first. And yes, he's wasteful but does many thing very few do. He presses, defends set-pieces, scores almost every match and has that leader spirit 'give it all'. When he's out of form it's tough to tell what to do, bench him or play him. Usually becomes better with minutes.

He went 10 CL games without scoring. That's just not good enough. He was signed to deliver in the big moments so from the SF he got to take his chances and improve his overall play.

He was the only one who scored . That too twice against ATM when they knocked us out in 2016 . He again initiated comeback vs PSG with his pressing instinct . Yeah went missing against Juve but he is hardly a flat track bully even when our team was playing poor . He has scored in all our classico wins since his arrival except the one in Bernabue last season . He had enough big moments even in this season despite struggling with knee injury

He looked bad. I wouldn't be surprised. He really needs a break.. Just rest him rest of the LaLiga season, If have to.
