Let's be real here, Masch is washed up at this point in his career.

France haven't looked great thus far, but they've looked a hell of a lot better than Argentina, both as a team and as individuals.

France don't have much chemistry and don't play like a team, but Argentina have been even worse.

Argentina have Messi, a few other good attackers that probably won't play and then trash throughout the rest of the team. France have Lloris, Varane, Umtiti, Kante, Pogba, Griezmann, Mbappe and coming off the bench they have guys like Fekir, Dembele, Lemar, N'Zonzi, Tolisso etc. Their B team would probably beat this Argentina comfortably.

France are very beatable by a weaker side who play as a unit, but this in crisis Argentina has no chance and will probably end up getting embarrassed.

Its just not that evident because of their easy group, even which they won narrowly, considering the talent they have.

Reality is though Kante, Matuidi, Pogba, Griezmann, Mbappe and Giroud are far better collectively than what Argentina can muster.

France have even got far more in reserve. Argentina would kill for N'Zonzi and Tolisso in midfield or Mendy and Sidibe at full back.
