Isn't it obvious that guy was already suicidal and dedicated his death for Argentina? Why are people acting like he killed himself just because of football...

Don't expect such posts from a veteran here with 5000+ posts. Very insensitive.

I get it that the man was probably suffering from crippling depression. Still an incredibly dumb way to go. Doesn’t make it any less tragic though. People die because of more trivial things, and this man’s last nail was Argentina’s loss.

8.7 km versus nigeria. Messi have not hit this number since ages i'm 100% sure. This must have been a matter of life or death for him. 7.6 versus iceland.

So sad... I checked it out & its real.

Why would you kill yourself, and that too because some random bunch of 11 players, who have nothing to do with you, get out of some tournament which is played every four years.

I am an avid football fan, and I support them as much as can. Yeah, It feels really bad when my team looses, but nothing comes even close to my life's worth.
Thar crosses the line from being a fan to insane worship of celebrities. Or he was probably already looking for an excuse to kill himself.
People need to take this advice from a brox tale to heart when it cones to crying over overpaid famous people:

Less pressure on Messi to perform today compared to the other games. France are the favourites and rightly so.
If Argentina catch france on a bad day you never know

As long as Messi puts in a good performance I don't think the criticism will be too harsh if they go out. I think most people have woken up now and see just how bad the rest of Argentina's team is.
