We aren't gonna be perfect. The gap is 5 points and around 10 games to go only.

The gap will be 2 points if we win our game today. Yes, they will have a game in hand but I don't know why people assume they'll automatically get a win in Vigo. Most people also assumed they'll won at Mestalla but they lost. It's not like they'll play at home against Espanyol or Getafe who would happily bend over for them, they'll actually have to earn those 3 points in Vigo whenever that game will be played.

Very simple why: the only gap in their schedule where LL can fit that game is before Jornada 38(that's if they pass Bayern) on a Tuesday or Wednesday, so few days before La Liga season is over. At that moment, they will be able to concentrate on this. Their path on CL will already be decided, know the real status of the standings in LL and so on. If they don't get to the CL semis, the match will probably be rescheduled earlier and again there's the same issue: no CL stress and they'll fight for the last trophy they can achieve this season.

The "slip-up" rhetoric doesn't even apply to La Liga this season. In Sevilla and Atletico ties it's more likely than not that they will drop points, IMO. I'm more worried about how we will navigate through our own bumpy terrain in a dilapidated chariot. As other people said, we do need Messi to go goat, but if he does then watch the rest of the lot suddenly becoming enthused to the heavens. If that happens there will be nothing but a tidy Ancelotti outfit stopping us from winning a treble. I don't anticipate that it will happen, though.

Same guys who would go all 'GOAT' when he's scoring, but ready to throw him under the bus and sell him if he has two bad games.

Don't forget that they are going to face ATM too.

It's not about scoring, Leo can be the best player in the world without scoring a single goal, what really gets to me is the lack of effort. I don't care if he goes through some bad patches, all players do, but not trying is inexcusable. The fact that he can win matches almost single handedly when he turns up, makes the lack of interest even more painful.

Nobody wants to sell him, we know what he is capable of and it bothers me to see him completely disinterested in about half our matches these days.

People can just simply have bad games. It happens. He's been magnificent this season. Stop blaming bad games on lack of itnerest. Teams can defend him well like PSG did. Deportivo was just bad.

The thing that makes Messi great is his bad stretches don't go beyond a couple of games in a row. That's why he's the GOAT.
