Username checks outI could not care less how Messi looks like or his fashion style but when I get such photos "thrown in the face" without asking, I can't help but wonder what the hell Messi thought about when he decided to have those hideous leg tattoos made.
Let us hope that he never returns to play a single minute for Argentina again so he can focus all his attention on Barça and what truly matters which is his performances for Barça. I could personally not care less about Argentina and for the Messi fanboy lot (people/users who care more about Messi than the actual club in other words), he has already done enough in football to be regarded as the GOAT. One Copa América title or the opposite won't make a difference here. If anything playing in another Copa América might only serve him further disappointment as I don't see this Argentina team winning anything anytime soon.
If he insists, I hope that he will only play in the actual Copa América and not some useless friendlies in late March just before crucial league games and knockout games in the CL. Those trips to South America and back within a short notice are killers.
messi loves Argentina too much to quit. They deserve fuck all with the way they treated him though. They have that madridista mindset.

i don't think Argentina is good enough to win next copa especially since the fact that Brasil will play in his home country but, football is strange and just imagine for one second how brutal could be for Messi if Argentina in some fluke way like other teams in the past (last example Portugal) wins copa without him, imagine the regret, the damage on his legacy, everyone would laugh of him for the rest of his life, do you really want this? I know it's a long shot but you can't completely exclude this scenario, it's already happened like i said and could happen again because copa is not like euro or world cup, there are few strong teams and one less match to play.

I would prefer a final and lasting retirement from the Argentina football national team. His entire focus, ideally, should be on Barça and Barça only. Speaking about his football career here. As I wrote, I could not care less about Argentina's football national team or the moronic and never-ending discussions about who is the GOAT and why. In particular when it is obvious that Messi IS the GOAT.

It is just a username. Messi should have chosen Spain anyway. Alas. He has Spanish and Catalan ancestry aside from having lived most of his life in Spain. Everything good that has happened to him has happened in Spain. I even recall him saying that the family wants to stay in BCN after his retirement. Anyway that was his choice and it must be respected.
