if Messi wants to play every minute, nobody is gonna stop him. Ronaldo has the sense to rest and keep himself fresh for the CL knockouts.. Messi burns himself out just in time for the CL knockouts. this is a recurring pattern and only Messi can change that, no manager is going to stand up and tell him to sit down

Amen man. Messi looks bad again and he doesn't seem to understand this. Rest is important! Mentally and physically.

Much better 2nd half, but he had to ruin it with that bad penalty. Maybe try to go for the left for the first time this season. Very frustrating.

he was much better in the 2nd half but his finishing was terrible.

Other than that , he should have had 4 assists today ...easily.

To be fair, he picked it up in the 2nd half though. Except that 2nd penalty which imo was not that bad. Credit to Masip.

He should have got like 2 assists at least.

Yet to have a good game in those fairly new yellowish shoes. Looks like he plays with a size or two too big for his feet.

its time Messi accepts less of a main-man role and sticks to 1 damn position while we work on phasing him out (slowly ofcourse, hes still the best) but we need to prepare for the next era. our right side is embarrassing, its schoolboy level fuckery and its SO OBVIOUS- Bob* is NOT a damn RB and Messi is drifting all over the place. its disgusting the amount of managers and money we've blown through, 2019 and we still depend on Messi for everything. Messi really fucking pissed me off today, especially ignoring Raki just so he can setup bumboy Suarez.. this gay bromance thing has to end, sell Suarez asap

the players are running the club, not EV, not Barto, its the seniors. they chose when and where they play to the detriment of the team. it seems they cant accept they are aging/need rest and will continue in this direction until we have a mass clearout. don't get me wrong, they aren't bad players but they need a new challenge and we need new, hungry players.

*imagine if you were told the day Alves left, we'd be replacing him with Roberto... seriously

our players need to put their big boy pants on and learn to play without Messi
