I tend to agree.
But honestly, with some luck, arg could have won 1 of the 4 lost finals.
But what changes after all ?
Let's just say they won the Copa America vs Chile on penalties. What would have changed ? would you think arg was a great team? No. Would you change your opinion about the players ? No.
btw Messi WC 2010 played much better then WC 2014, despite not having scored 1 goal.

Agree with him about Spain, obviously one of the best National teams ever. But even the Puyol goal against Germany was unlike Spain’s style of play so you could say lucky in a way.

I can bet 1000$ that Batistuta or Caniggia would not miss that absolute dead duck golden chance in a WC final. It was absolute shit from receiving the ball, controlling it to the execution. It was amateur level at it's best.
