I don't want us resting key players too many times in the league games. That's what Juventus did their last 4 or 5 league games..... and it pretty much showed in both legs. They looked rusty against Ajax.

If City won the quadruple or Liverpool do the double, then the best one out of Mane, Salah, VVD, Sterling, or Aguero would be a strong contender.

All of those players blew hot and cold all season. Maybe VVD would be the best performer. But Messi was just superb this year. It would be another travesty to just give it to a guy playing for the UCL winning team
