Messi played great.. Just one question though: what's the deal with him and Semedo?

He seems to really not want to pass to him unless he absolutely has no other option whatsoever, and then he doesn’t even look at him as if to let him know that he doesn’t want to pass to him. Later in the game Semedo didn’t even try going forward ‘cause he knew it wouldn’t make a difference.

And when Semedo passed a ball backwards once, Suarez looked at Messi like (there we go again) and it was soo blatant…

Maybe because both Messi and Suarez know that Semedo offers nothing in the final third.

Sure looked motivated. If he keeps this intesity...

He can only seem to perform like that 2 or 3 times a season. Ecuador and Chelsea last season, Classico hat-trick the season before. Most of the time he'll only play in short bursts.

If he was more rested and the team was more in tune with him then hopefully more so.

He really needs this one last CL and Ballon Dor for his legacy. It'd be a travesty if Ronaldo wins it instead for Juve.

Rested Messi = Best Messi

We need to figure a system how to play without him and win. Because I believe that if we rest him before each CL match, we have chances.

He also played centrally most of the time yesterday, with Suarez playing RW.

As things stand now, CR will win Balon d'Savon (f he doesn't fill complain soon).
