In a preview on my TV... while showing the individual battles they showed VV vs Iker, Messi vs CR7, Xavi vs Xabi, Fabregas vs Ozil. And then there was Iniesta but none to match him from Madrid. It really made me go
David Fernandez Borbalan is apparently the ref
thoughts?
He refereed the home leg of the Supercopa in August - I thought he did a fair job but they did miss the offside goal
to be fair that was very close and in a middle of a full penalty area ..
for the Clasico .. real madrid has been playing so well as the results are very good .. and since I don't watch them at all .. I'd like to ask .. do they play like possession game and try to keep the ball between them then strike with the speed of the players .. or they play more direct balls and just don't care about possession .. if they paly possessin .. would they be as good as barca at this very aspect?? and if barca paly the usual keeping the ball around game .. would madrid have a hard time??
ofcourse barca will have to be very lethal with evey chance appears .. and the form of Messi and Alexis .. I guess scoring is no problem .. but can Pique and Mascherano/Puyol stop thier attack??
A handler places on December 5, 2011 three boxes, including two bearing the crests of the Real Madrid and Barcelona football teams, in the aquarium of an octopus called Messi at the Sea Life Aquarium in the southern resort of Benalmadena so he predict the winner the December 10 Spanish League football match opposing Real Madrid to Barcelona on Saturday. Messi, an 800-gram Mediterranean octopus predicted the victory of FC Barcelona.
There you have it.
Stay calm, stay cool people.
Pep & co will more then ready for this match, Pep will of been studying for weeks ready for this match & the players are just starting to hit there peak. Plus with the fact the players know we must win it'll be our greatest performance yet imho.
What ever formation pep decides to field will be for a good reason & I trust in him to come up with the goods.
At the end of the day if Messi & co turn up I cant see any reason why we couldnt win this game
