It's a bit annoying that he doesn't use the free time to recover, but he's Brazilian, maybe that's the only way he knows how to chill. Hope he doesn't drink too much, he's been in crappy form.

If traveling 1000km to Paris = resting (according to a recent study on barcaforum), than 10 000km to Sao Paulo is the cure to all fatigue problems :coffee:


Here's a serious question though... was the birthday party planned ? is it him or Lucho that made the call to look for the YC ?

Cause something tells me Lucho would have prefered to rest him against Getafe rather than Eibar.

He looks like he needs a rest. Going to Brazil for a birthday party after just going to Paris is bad enough.

But if he got himself a deliberate yellow, without consulting Lucho, so he can travel to Brazil, then he can fuck off from Barca.

There's no way to defend him.

You should ask him. That's not the kind of thing he'd do without the club and Enrique's consent, though.

I still see no problem with that. It's his sister. Wasn't traveling with family or family reasons ok a few pages ago? And as he surely got permission from Enrique to go, because that's not the sort of thing a player can do without it, it's fine by me.

Let's be clear, I do NOT want Neymar to be sold, that doesn't mean he can't be criticized or that the club/lucho/captains shouldn't have a talk with him about all these travels.

You know we don't know half of what the players do, right? They all probably party a lot more than you know. Not long ago I read a piece about a club in Barcelona where many of the players go frequently, not only Neymar. But this usually is not disclosed, so we know nothing.

It's not a funeral or a wedding.

He needed rest, instead staying home, goes to Paris. He looked worse yesterday, gets himself a deliberate yellow and flies off to party some morey only this time to another continent.

You are aware he's not helping himself nor his team with that behavior and still see nothing wrong.

I don't think he looked worse yesterday. Suarez is also in a slump right now, maybe he's partying too?

Neymar's doing nothing to hurt the team or himself. If he starts doing that, like doing things without Enrique's permission, or missing training, than I will complain.
