Yup it could be 12 matches total if Brazil go to the finals starting June 4th - June 26th for Copa and August 4th - August 20th for Olympics.

As a Brazilian, I'd much rather he play only the Olympics. The Copa America is just a money tournament. But I have a feeling, all the other South Americans will be bringing their A-teams because of the fact that its another trophy. Very weird situation.

He really shouldn't play both. That's too many games and he'd have no holidays whatsoever. He might get stupidly injured,he has a huge mark on his head for bad challenges,especially when playing for Brazil.

The thing is though Brazil have 2 WC qualifiers in early September (just after the Olympics) and will they even compromise to leave him out of those?

Barca won't see him next season until after the September internationals at which point he'll be exhausted and needing a break and then a few weeks later there's more internationals. Brazil are taking the piss and there needs to be some give and take.
