His bad performance aside, I was disappointed he started to lash out physically and verbally again because things weren't going his way.

I don't blame him for those failed tricks though. Because as soon as they work everybody praises him and acknowledge 'his style'.

Horrible performance, even that sweet creative assist was ill placed. Suarez is no Messi and will have bad games of his own, maybe even streaks, and Neymar needs to start bailing him out.

I'm kind of giving a pass on the other guys because everyone was mediocre, and Lucho must have failed scouting gladbach, and failed with Paco at RW, but Neymar individually messed up too many times. Right now it's probably not wise to give him so much importance in the system. Arda and Rafinha have the skills to share the load.

I've lost patience with him more than once... during games I lose with most players, eventually. I just dislike the witch hunt, from the same people, all the time.

Flavia is from Brazil. So that will never happen.

It really has no correlation. Having the same nationality as him doesn't make me automatically defend him or anything. I used to do the same when the object of witch hunts was villa or alexis.

Oh come on. When Neymar is in question he's always a poor victim, while all other players are free to walk in front of firing squad.
I would rather say, it's much more boring to read constant justifications from the "opposite" camp, while waiting for the "Savior" to appear in full glory.
You might end up disappointed...and it's seems that is becoming more evident scenario then some of us getting surprised.

Nah it is the opposite. The people who stick up for Neymar against the usual suspects can say he has had a good or bad game.

I don't get it... we played a horrible game, but in the end we got away with 3 points, Neymar has been responsible for the equaliser and played a part on the 2nd goal.
I get the feeling that some people here forget that we don't need a scapegoat right now.
He was horrendous, awful, pathetic for a player of his status, but without him we would have lost the game. Full stop.

Are we back to the "Sell him"-Stuff? What do you expect from the guy?
Will you be a little bit thankful for having him in the team because otherwise... we would have lost today.

Guess the problem are the people expecting him to be some kind of savior, then. To be Messi's heir or something like that, which he won't ever be.
