Out for 3-4 weeks.
When do we play the first leg of QF??? This is horrible! Even if he returns on time he won't be in proper shape. Constant hamstring injuries are really causing huge problems in his development.

Well, as a French fan I love them both. But Dembele was the one warming the bench while Mbappe was staring for France and became one of the main reasons France won.
If Barcelona could swap Dembele with Mbappe, they'd do that in a heartbeat.
By fully fit I obviously meant getting medical clearance to play. Should have been obvious.
If that is the case there is no way that he should NOT start. If not, there is no point in even attempting to risk him by having him on the bench. We should be beating Lyon without him at home without much trouble. If we go out it won't be because Dembélé did not play but due to the entire collective (team) having an off-day. That or Lyon being phenomenally good or extremely lucky like in the first leg.
Yes, we agree.
I mean if he is fully fit, he should obviously start. If not, there is no point risking him. Hamstring injuries can become very bothersome if not treated correctly and if not given the time to heal. Basically all of Dembélé's injuries so far (there have been 5 since he joined us) have been muscle injuries or that raptured tendon injury that he suffered from initially and which kept him out for 4+ months in total.
If he is almost 100% fit and there is little chance of a recurring hamstring injury, I would put him on the bench and only sub him in if we were in trouble which we hopefully won't be.
No, Valverde might tell us something during the presser today but I doubt that he will tell much. Might keep his status as a secret but given that hamstring injuries, even light ones, usually take longer than 4 days, I don't see him being fully fit and in such a case I would prefer not to risk him at all.
As fucking written. Now injured for 1 month and going to miss the CL quarter-finals. Great. Imbecile Malmierda and our staff must have brains the size of peanuts. Malcom playing (the same guy that scored 4 goals in 4 games) against a bang average Lyon team at home would have been too "risky". Better risk the long-term health of an actually injured player.
