Guys the issue isn't Messi, It's the board and management. There's no direction from up top and Messi is taking full advantage of that his focus has clearly shifted from life being all about football because of family etc. If we had the right direct and structure he'd be even more of a lethal weapon for us.
Don't get me wrong I'm annoyed with him for backing Valverde choosing to play with inferior players because theyre friends etc etc I also don't like the fact that his wages put a lot of pressure on us financially but at the end of the day he genuinely deserves them for what he's helped do at this club, yet again this issue is with management and people undeserving of extension and their salaries.

Tldr: Messi OK! board bad

But where's the disrespect? I appreciate the service he has given us. The guy practically carried us for years and will go down as the greatest player ever when it's all said and done BUT if i had the chance to sell him in order to improve our team in the long run i would do it in a heartbeat.

Great post and i agree with most of what your sayin. One of the biggest problems i have with Messi is his lack of character. We all can see what's happening at Barca.
Backing this coach and board just shows me how much he really cares about the future of this.He would rather have his friends around than to win trophies.
I don't have much hope for Messi and friends with our current board so i guess it is what it is.

Hey guys new member here. Been following this forum for a few days and decided to create an account.

Now about Dembouz. I think we should sell him since his has been here for two seasons and he has yet to have a great season. Even this post season he wasn't great when compared to the likes of Sancho, Sane and Mbappe. He has regressed so much that's sad. I remember going to a sports bar and a few other people and an event. While I was there I was watching England vs France back on 2017 where Mbappe anf Dembele were destroying England. That match turned me into a Dembele fam whoch is why I was excited when it was announced that he was coming. I am very very disappointed that he hasn't developed into the world clas player I thought he would be. We all know Griezmann will be coming this summer and since Valverde doesn't have the balls to bench Suarez, Griezmann will likely play on the left wing which result in Dembele being a bench player.
