If we somehow get Both Dembele and Coutinho I wonder what that means for the Inigo Martinez deal?

I'm thinking we have everything done with the Martinez deal but we haven't paid the clause yet due to the dependability on both the Dembele and Coutinho deals.

Rumors are they don't want to pay the buyout anymore and negotiate a lower fee.

Either way, I'm not too concerned on missing out on him if the transfer falls through.

I think my concern is that Dembele is going to cost us 120M, while we already have Deolofeu and Denis who can fill in that left wing and give us probably as much as Demebele will and they will cost us NOTHING

Agree, with right system d. Suarez would look just okay on that position, he was great in villareal for example, but hey, let them splash 150 m on 20 year old superstar, who doesnt look 2 times better then d.suarez

You can make that argument for any of the players we have ever signed.

Why did we sign Suarez or Neymar? Or Rakitic? Or Umtiti? Could have just made anyone else look okay with the right system.

I'm against signing Paulinho and Di Maria as well.... but at least those 2 have experience. These prices of 120m plus for very young players is a joke. At the moment they only have potential.

Having Deulo and Denis fill in on the LW is the same as us being fine with Roberto and Vidal filling in for Alves after he left.

It may work for a short time but as the season goes on we will start to regret it big time.

Why? We will have enough goals from Messi, Suarez and Coutinho.
We need Deu and Suarez to do the running and the hustle work. How is this different from Madrid? Messi, Suarez and Coutinho will get us the same amount of goals as Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo.
