They had offers for Hummels but he didn't want to play for Manchester United.

And the absurd offer Barca was making that their strategy pays off. And if even you as a fan are frustrated by this resistence then it shows that their position is solid as fuck.

Totally disagree with that. He was their biggest threat and Bayern struggled containing him. He played on the left in that game and has played mostly on the right or centrally in the past year. Dortmund is far more than Dembele. And they could sign players like Felipe Anderson or Gelson Martins for the right wing. 150m is not justified based on these poor excuses. Dembele missing training and Coutinho's transfer request should help in making the deals easier for us. When a transfer request is submitted, it tends to lower the valuation of the player. It's quite possible aswell that Dembele did the same.

Its not only about being proven but about the ceiling of the players and their age. Dominating both the French and the German league before turning 20 shows immense potential. Vitolo is also more proven than Dembele. Doesnt make him more expensive.
