I think this one will eventually get to the middle.

I wouldn't doubt the biggest issue right now is how big the fixed fee is. 120 Fixed+20-30 in Variables might do it. It's a shit load of money no question especially for young player like Dembele. But this market is totally fucked and it's almost the end of the transfer window.

I agree, the fixed issue is gonna be the decider here and 120m is probably it. People in Dortmund are afraid that he won't fulfill adventurous bonus clauses due to his additude problems.

EDIT: https://www.ruhrnachrichten.de/sport/bvb/Klare-Kante-BVB-bleibt-hart-im-Wechselpoker-um-Dembele;art11635,3335034

Dortmund want at least €120m as a fixed fee + €30 bonuses for Dembele. Rennes will receive €20m. Every offer under €150m will be rejected by Dortmund.

If they reject every offer below 150m we should just bid swaps like 90m + Deulofeu, the price they are asking is absurd, the 220m we got from Neymar seems like cents then.
And what happened to the "club is owned by socios so they have to accept high offer like 100m" thing?

120m fixed fee is too high.

They can keep him if they're not willing to negotiate.

We'll probably be back in for him again next year. Should lowball them then like with Coutinho. 80m max.

they don't have to accept offers above that, they must disclose them to the stock market

We're fucking over Dortmund and Liverpool trying to sign their two key players this late in the window, but no one gave a fuck about Barca when PSG and Neymar did it, so I see no reason for any culer to feel sorry for other clubs.

It's just how it is. The ugly side of football transfers.

Anyway, I predicted we would sign only Inigo and even that isn't happening anymore lol. If Liverpool and Dortmund don't want to sell and are getting too crazy, then so be it.

Both players are forcing the issue, but it's falling to deaf ears. That's no problem. We can come back for both next year, but then these two teams cannot command the fees they want right now. Should be 80m max for each of them next year, and I'd like to see them burn all bridges with both if they still remain reluctant next summer.

Why would anyone feel sorry for Dortmund or Liverpool, We are trying to sign one of their best players late in the window, yes, but they are asking ridicoulos money for them, and if we manage to sign any one of the 2 we will overpay, anything over 100m is overpaying.

Do Dortmund and Liverpool need to feel sorry for us? no, they are using the situation of ours late in the window and know we are loaded. Both clubs wouldnt ask this kind of money if our situation wasnt sort of desperate.

They are also fully aware that next summer they wont get nearly as much for those two players, nevermind the market changes. So these clubs are fucking with Barca, and the 2 players are fucking with them, I see no problem here, just bussines.

All of them are hypocritical **cks.
If any one of us, Were in dembele and coutinho's situation, Playing for a club with hardly any chance for trophies, Our dream club comes knocking, Giving us a chance to be part in one of the best if not the best team in the world, And play along side the greatest player in history, And is willing to break transfer records just for us, Only for current club to start shutting doors in front of us, Then all of us will be fuming in rage, Screw them!!, All of us will rebel in this situation, And anyone who says no is a hypocrite and a liar.

noone has to be sorry about anyone. As Zuti said, it's business. Like when you buy a used car.
As long as noone pulls off any illegal shit I can't be bothered to get emotionally invested in anyone hard- or low balling. Both clubs have a future to prepare and money matters, they'd logically want to get or keep as much as they can. Gotta laugh at fans of any side making such things a personal vendetta.

Yeah. Was browsing reddit and saw a lot of fans being sorry for BVB and LFC. Don't understand it. I get that all three clubs are standing firm and looking after their interests, but that's another matter.

You shouldn't. there all just bsing. And hoping they guessed right so afterwards they can say "Told you so".

I see it like this. I'm not angry that Barca want a to buy a player which easily is going to solve a lot of their Problems. What I don't understand is the Sentiment here like it's your fing god given right to buy those Players and the Price you feel is right. I think you're not overpaying with 120 direct + 30 bonuses this late in the window. Do you think Dortmund will have it easy to replace him this late with full pockets either ? I hope he stays. I'd rater get a lot less Money. He's going to perform anyways in a WC season.

But it's not like Dortmund's season is going to be affected by his departure. They'll make champs league spots behind Bayern and at best CL 1/4 finals whether he's there or not while earning huge profit on him.
