150 million is way too much for a youngster that is not proven, hasn't won any major titles, etc. BVB are greedy and aware of our despair and I doubt our leading structure is able to mask that.
He's a 80 million euros (maximum) player even in this inflated market. However, given our situation I could understand stretching to 100 million. Everything over that is a robbery.

When it comes to a point that the player doesn't participate in training and publicly says that he wants to leave, then is the best for the club to sell, even more when these fees are on the table.

wouldn't suprise me if this is Dortmund showing some balls while they find a replacement. this will probably drag on until the last few days of the window and they'll sell him. i just hope the cunts incharge don't give up on him and go for AdM

This negotiations are like:

BVB:150!!! Barca:90?
BVB:150!!! Barca:100???
BVB:150!!! Barca:130?!?!?!?!?
BVB:150!!! Barca:145???????????
BVB:180+Messi and GTFO!!! Barca:Ok here is your 150!

The day after Robert gives a press conference : "BVB wanted 180 + Messi but we successfully negotiated!!!"

What is taking the bastards running this club so long? Even a Dembele doubter like me is getting impatient.
Regarding dembele, It's taking this long because the club wants him to be the last one signed.
It appears than we we first started contacting BvB, The board realized, That dembele will cost a lot of money, And there was no way around it, They decided to put his transfer on hold until they finish other signings, Like coutinho's.
This explains why we placed three bids for coutinho and only one for dembele, With coutinho's transfer verging on the impossible, The board switched to seri and are trying to finish his deal first.
The club won't reach an agreement or announce dembele before seri becomes a barca player first.

Barca aren't offering the money up front though or guaranteed. It's all 5 year payments and add ons for ballon dors and CL wins. Why would Dortmund and Liverpool agree to that?

Sign people when you can. Don't make a master-bs-plan when you have only 8 days left with the risk of getting no one.

They are negociating like we are in early june.

BVB won't accept to let him go on the last day of the mercato because they have to buy a replacement too. Can't our board realize that?

This board is full of idiots.

At that time it was the only logical step, The club can't go after coutinho or any one else as a matter of fact when they just have splashed over 100M+ for a 20 year old, They would've truly been idiots if they did that, Anyway BvB had a deadline of 26 August, which appear to have been extended by one day to 27th, My guess is they did that because of a request from our club, To give us time to finish seri in case it got delayed beyond the expected time, Of course this is just my personal interpretation of what's going on, I don't have any evidence.
