You just joked about something, That'll actually be true.
We're expected to hit the 1 billion revenue by 2021 :bartomeu::bartomeu::bartomeu:

Yeah I know those are the projections and I was half joking. Given we have our new Nike contract to come in I'm pretty confident we can at least get close. It's basically a race between us, Utd and Real to who can make 1 billion first.

Cou 170m
Dembele 150m
Semedo 50m
Paulinho 40m
Deulofeu 12m
= 422m Euros for now

Compared to last season, we got rid of Neymar's wages, but Coutinho+Dembele will together reach Neymar's wages.
Then you have Paulinho on high wages.
Semedo getting Mathieu's wages.
Deulo getting Rafinha's wages if Rafinha will leave.
Plus, Messi getting a new improved contract.

So, we were already in debts and had the highest wages in the world and now we have spent 422m (222m from Neymar) and even raised our wage bill even further.

It could end somewhat well if we'll win some Cls, but imagine this investment, these wages and let's say zero Cls in the next few years.

We went all in and sinked even deeper into debts and risks now.
And we don't have an unlimited amount of income like Psg.
You're worrying yourself for no reason.
If there is a single thing that this board is good at, Is finances, That's what got them elected in the first place in 2015, Leave the math to them, That's the only thing they can do right.

Your transfer prices doesn't make sense at all. You are talking about 170M for Coutinho, where did you get that? Semedo was 30 fixed, Dembele is reported 120 + 30. Those add ons count for multiple years and it's not even know what the details are and if they will needed to be payed. Taken over a 4 years term, it's not alot.

That makes it:
Semedo 30
Marlon 5
Deulofeu 12
Paulinho 40 (reports suggest 32 with 8M payed by himself, not sure if true or not so let's count 40)
Dembele 120
Coutinho 120 (unknow but will be similar to dembele probably)
Total = 327M
- 222 Neymar = 105M

And 1-2 players will probably leave if both Dembele and Coutinho come.

Dembele is really not getting a world class player wage yet, he didn't earn that much at dortmund either. Coutinho is reportedly willing to take a wage cut to join his dream team also.

You have to remove either Cou or Dembele from the equation to be within FFP rules. Also wasn't Semedo 30m?

there's 20 mill in semedo variables about a certain number of games played over the course of his first contract but it is anticipated that he would have a renewal before then so we would not pay the full amount

Aguilar from MD says that it will be 120+30 but that it is not finalized yet.

It will be finalized this evening.
A matter of hours...

Well, if Dembele is 120+30, that means that we will probably pay 120m now and 30 in the next 2-4 years, based on variables.

Now, if you count only 120m for Dembele into this year and 30m into upcoming years, then you have to add addons from previous years into a current year.

For example, we are probably currently paying addons for Umtiti, Mats, Rakitic, Suarez, Denis, Gomes, Paco etc

Majority of them had some addons in terms of trophies, games played, goals scored etc

So, you can't say: it is 300m now and 120m in the future.
Fine, but then you have 300m now, 120 in the future, and probably 50-ish m in addons this summer from previous transfers.

So, it evens out to some extent and it is again way higher than only 300 for fixed amounts from this summer.
