Dembele is one of a kind talent and has the potential to reach Neymar level. Look how much he has developed in just 2 years at Dortmund & Rennes. He is the best replacement after losing Neymar, I can't think of any other names.

Dude, my point is we actually need to become competitive, not launch all our money on "potential of Neymar", of course, there's theoretically enough money to buy some midfielders, we just aren't doing very well finding one and it doesn't look like they're trying hard enough to fix the problem.
Of course, I agree as we lost Neymar, our forward line became a problem, but our grandest problem we are yet to fix for 2 years is our midfield and we are pretty much in the same degrading state, unless you believe Paulinho is going to be a plus or Iniesta will drink a magic potion.
Sure, Dembele can become a future Ronaldo, which everybody hopes, but neither did Real Madrid win anything until they managed to line up this midfield after he was already there for 5 years and it goes for us too with Messi in Rijkaards last 2 years, once Xavi and Iniesta reached their prime we looked unstoppable for 4 years (unfortunately only winning 2 UCLs but together they also won 2x Euro and 1x World Cup). But being skeptical right now considering all the other factors.
My only hope is we someone manage a Milan 06/07 season, even if it means we won't do much in La Liga but somehow manage not be tired and get tons of luck in the spring starting from March all the way to the final.

I know he's just signed and there's alot of excitment, but he certainly isn't a 'one of a kind talent' at all, Messi is, Dembele isn't.

In any case, the sooner this kid is in the side the better, inject much needed pace and directness into the style of play.
