We're lucky we're such a big name club that players like Dembele want to play for. That's why we got him, not because of any genius by Farto and co. Laporta and Pep deserve more credit for this signing than Farto does. I'm dead serious.

I'll give some credit to Robert on this though, could have sworn I read somewhere that he wanted Dembele last year. Unless I just imagined that, in which case forget what I said.

Yes we paid 105m in full already. The easier-add-ons such as that ALLEGED 10m stupid CL qualification add-on and the 50-game for 10m add-on will be paid sooner or later, there is no escape of it right, unless you don't think those conditions will be met?

The only advantage is we can probably earn interest on those? At the end of the day those will have to be paid so they should be considered part of his transfer fee.

I am saying the fee is basically being quoted as 150m anyway. These easier add one and the others are basically being counted already. Not people thinking he has been signed for 105m.

Dortmund will get 10m if he plays 50 games for the club and another 10m if we qualify for the CL within the next four years .

Pretty easy 20m for them.

Yet we have the Barcelona press hailing Bartomeu like he was a genius in closing the transfer for a reasonable amount. Happy to have him, but the propaganda is sickening. The press is complicit in the institutional mess the club is facing and the problems it may face in the future.

There's no sugarcoating this one, we spent a shitload of money on Dembele.

It's pretty clear Dortmund gave us a price and the variables they wanted since we started talks with them early august and they didn't move off it. It didn't make a difference if Barto was there or not, we ended up paying what Dortmund wanted all along.

It's just MD and Sport trying to make the it sound like without Barto this deal wouldn't have gotten done.

Everyone is complaining about Dembele's price now? wow. I bet you if Bartomeu doesn't sing him, people would be losing their s.it right now. shame on him if he doesn't sign him, shame on him if he does. Nothing will make cules happy b.c they are thirsty for instant gratification glory and don't understand processes.
