Asensio aka the long range goal merchant, has scored 28 goals in 150 apps.

Dembouz, while being younger has scored 35 goals despite having 50 less apps.

Decide for yourself.

I think he will start this weekend. despite not training for two weeks during the whole transfer saga he looks fit going by the training videos.

Could see him start and be subbed off if we get a good enough lead.

Dembele's stats at 18 years of age playing for Rennes
<a href="https://ibb.co/nsfxda"><img src="https://preview.ibb.co/kBMQWv/dembele.jpg" alt="dembele" border="0" /></a>

Mbappe's stats at 18 years of age playing for monaco.

Dembele produced these stats in a team that finished in the 8th spot, Scoring only 52 goals and conceding 54
Mbappe produced his stats in a team that won the league, Scoring 107 goals and conceding 37.

Now you be the judge, Now excuse me while i repost this in Mbappe's thread to annoy the PSG fanboys, Since they seem to act like they signed the second coming of jesus.

GOATbele :worthy:

He's fresh and has been training for 2 weeks now. He should be starting. Not the players who flew back from South America who have 48 hours to recover.

He won't start, And neither he should, He only started doing the rondos and full training sessions 3 days ago.
He'll get a 5 minute cameo at the end, If any.

you're playing this dumb game of what ifs.
digne is bad because we didnt sign a leftback that can play rightback when we had no rightback??

that doesn't make sense. We wanted a leftback substitute and we got one (fairly cheap too), it's an improvement to what we had before.
the rightback position is irrelevant. blame the board on that not digne.

sidibe is a starter for monaco i don't see him leaving his starting role to sit in the bench behind alba.
and no he isn't better than alba as much as you guys want to think the grass is always greener, it isn't.

in before grimaldo should of stayed blahblahblah

you guys thought adriano was bad in terms of injurys? since grimaldo joined Benfica he's missed around 33% of possible games on injuries alone.. lol

What are you talking about? Sidibe was bought for 15m euros by Monaco the same summer we bought Digne for 17m euros. Of course its a stupid idea to sign a left back substitute who would rarely play when we had needs at the right back as well. The smart decision was always to sign a VERSATILE full back that could cover for Roberto AND Digne if Roberto turned out to be a bad at RB. Versatile players will also be more match fit and are less likely to complain about playing time. Going into the season with Roberto as the successor to Dani Alves was quite risky and a backup to a single position like a LB backup will rarely play and be rusty when needed.

Speaking of Grimaldo I was reading the Benfica forums and I notice this post.

Grimaldo's calvary in Benfica after leaving Barça

Since arriving in Portugal, the Barca player has been injured by injury in 36 matches, the equivalent of more than one season.

Grimaldo has not been doing well since leaving the discipline of Barcelona to join Benfica. The international in lower grades is living a real calvary of injuries since arriving in Lisbon.

With four games left in the beginning of the Portuguese league, the left-hand side already has 36 absences due to injury in 87 matches (41.4%) that Benfica have played since their signing, the equivalent of more of a season of Liga (in Portugal, the championship has 34 days).

Aside from slowing Grimaldo's progression (next Wednesday 20 will turn 22), the injuries have closed the doors of the Under-21. One could even say that, in some way, they have been 'expelled' from La Rojita. Nevertheless, the misfortune was attacked with him and an untimely injury caused him to leave the concentration in June the same day that Spain began its walk in Eurocopa of the category.

Man he has some awful luck when it comes to injuries.

no team has a versatile rightback and leftback backup..
we need one of each for rotations your suggesting buying lets say a starting rightback like semado, or a prime dani alves, start with jordi alba and only buy a sidibe to backup both players?

if one gets injured goodbye rotations for either fullback..
it doesn't work in a team like barca that play 50+ games a season
