Why is this thread always a tire fire 24/7? Anyways, I'll give him until the end of next season before saying he can't make it here.
It’s not the talent. It oozes out of him... It’s the attitude. When everybody went onto the pitch he and Denis sat still, after the photos he couldn’t wait to leave too.

Contrast that with Mina’s attitude.

And I’ve defended Dembélé and Criticised Valverde’s handling of him thus far.

He can make it here. Problem is Valverde. The kid didn't have a proper press season, then he got injured, came back and got injured again. He is young plus Valverde is shit when it comes to nurturing youth.

There is a clear agenda against Dembele on this forum. Damn shame because he is a genuine talent who has been badly managed by Mr Bean.

It is on Dembele to show more. Valverde hasnt managed him badly.

Same shite getting blamed for anything going.

His attitude is not right, it seems. It's on the veterans at Barca to try to change that.

Maybe also Valverde has instructed him to take it easy (like he did, when he played as a ST in Copa).

You're welcome
Don't think it's bad intent on his part. The kid is a fan of the club and think he is heavily bothered by thinking he's not living up to expectations.

No way he will succeed here with that kind of body language and attitude especially under ev system. He is really 20 years old and he is behaving like one. Long way to go for him and i am not sure he grow fast enough to make it here. On the bright side he has the talent to make it here but thats not enough....

Dembele haters when he performs in the few actual games EV lets him play:

Dembele haters when Paulinho, Vidal and Gomes give crappy performances week in week out:

Dembele haters he underperforms in a friendly: FLOP! SELL! LAZY!

Clear agenda against him here.

Watch him leave and go beast it somewhere else.

i see it is more acceptable now to call the spade a spade.. yall on the right path keep up the healing process. Major Ls are brutal psychlogical blows. starts late, not good for his confidence. plays away, not good for his confidence. starts from the start, not good for his confidence. if one uses his brains he would see that this guy is doing nothing WHENEVER he plays.

Except he's been just fine whenever he's played, for the most part. Easily better than Paulinho, Vidal or Gomes. Except in a friendly, of course, so let's jump on that and call him a flop.

Yeah, no agenda against him

Your posts are full of hyperbole and not based on what people are actually saying. Everything is black and white for you.

I'm a long time lurker, but I had to sign up to make this statement. The way you so-called Barca fans have been clamouring this young man's every move has been nothing short of disgusting. This guy can't miss a single pass, or mess up a single dribble without being at the mercy of you so-called fans. I watched the game and I saw absolutely nothing wrong with his performance. His dribbling was top notch, he switched the ball to the opposing flanks superbly and was breaking down the opposition lines with his direct drives.

If your biggest problem with an attacking player is that he doesn't press enough, then you clearly have some sick, weird agenda going and you need might want to get your brain evaluated. Stop crying and moaning after each match he plays. He's without a doubt a top 3 youngster in the world, and his injury riddled season doesn't change that fact.

With everything I've read in this thread from so-called Barca fans, I just can't help but think it'd be better for him to snake Barca this summer and just head to PSG. That attack with Neymar-Mbappe-Dembele would be nothing less than potent and it'd be real funny to see the people who chastised his every single move eat their words.

What are you fucking talking about.

You know what I won't even bother it's clear you have some rage boner against Dembele because he's not your lord and savior neymar.

His attitude has been questionable thus far, but don't blame him in this particular instance. He was a 150m player that was lighting up the Bundesliga last season as one of Dortmund's main men. Fast forward to less than a year later and he's being included in a friendly match designed mainly for the B team's player. I don't think he would've ever imagined playing a match like this when he first arrived here. His start to life here has been disastrous and while he maybe a bit culpable in exacerbating his predicament can you really blame the kid for not celebrating with the B team's players after winning a meaningless 'Copa Catalonia' competition? Of course Mina was buzzing, he's fresh of the boat from the Brazilian league with no European experience and he's thankful for every minute he gets, friendly or not. Their situations are not remotely comparable.

He might to be blame for his lifestyle, diet, and dynamic with his teammates, but I'm not going to blame the kid for looking miserable playing with the reserves and the B team just months after being included in the Bundesliga's team of the year and completing a record transfer here.

I'll judge him the next time he plays with the first team, not reading too much into this.

Didn't see the match but i wouldn't read anything into a friendly match. Let's see how he does against Malaga if Valverde plays him.

Your buddy Neymar flopped hard against Madrid. Get over it or apply lotion to the burnt area.

I was also the one defending him all of the time but I must agree on this 100%. This kid has some seriously shitty attitude. And NO I don’t care if this was a friendly game. We paid 105 mil for him so he has to act like a professional ALL OF THE TIME. Today he looked like spoiled brat who was forced to play football when he didn’t want to.

If he has a problem with Valverde than he could have proved him wrong today for not playing him regularly. He should have played full speed for at least 45 min but instead of that he showed to all of us that he has some serious attitude issues.
