Trust me I've read opinions from other fans and everyone can clearly tell dembele is a fraud and that we massively overpayed for this guy. Only some people from this board still think he's the next big superstar because he adds "width" to our attack even though when teams park the bus he disappears completely.

The guy who played amazingly well for Borussia Dortmund who placed 2nd in the Bundesliga and have regressed in attack without him this season, the guy who had very good games vs Real Madrid and a great Monaco that season in the CL, created most chances for BVB and had the most assists in that season, in a new league at the age of 19 is now just a pace merchant and a huge fraud.



The only fraud I see here is a guy with the username NorthernCule who tries to come across as some sort of a football expert, but cannot string together a couple of good or valid points in his sweeping statement.

Dembele isn't overhyped. infact ive seen on the net people actually saying Martial and Rashford are bigger talents..

Mbappe is playing in his comfort zone in a dominant PSG team with no competition in terms of clubs and his position as a starter for PSG. Dembele lit up Rennes, was great for Dortmund and now hes reached the very top tier of clubs at the age of 21. call him what you like but a fraud he is not. he isn't a Barca-DNA player and hes very raw at times but thats not actually a bad thing. 1. He quite frequently used body feints, quick feet/trickery (nutmegs, fake shots), and agility to beat opponents. Not his pace or acceleration. Yes his pace/acceleration is a fantastic tool, but it's not the only thing he uses. Saying otherwise is a gross misrepresentation of his performances.

2. He was one of the most, if not the most, creative player in Dortmund. Noted for his precise crosses and lobs.

To call him "only a pace merchant" clearly shows that you've never watched Ousmane Dembele play.
