I am curious to see what Dembele will show us in the upcoming season. The competition has become only harder for him as there are more quality players in the squad. He really should improve ball protection, loses it too easily. Gotta take a lesson or two from Messi.

He's not bad at protecting the ball at all, it's his slow decision making that he should improve. In above video you can actually see how he calmly protects the ball as he "ponders" what to do next, but failing a quicker solution will obviously get you overwhelmed by defenders. It also slows down the play, but at least he doesn't seem to be pointlessly showboating to fellate his ego like Neymar. More of a 'dunno wat to choose lol'.

I think he's already registered as a EU player for the new season, but the idiotic RFEF see this competition as one of last season so not eligible as one there.
