Do you understand the difference? 4-0 or 5-0 in one game can happen and does happen a lot of times, but how many times did a top team lose a 3 goal advantage or more in the champions league?

Doesn't matter in another context, Pep spend shitload and lost to a inferior midfield ,4-0 in Cl night .Lost to kiddos of Monoca as well . Equally worse. And for Record Ancelotti has blown away 4-0 lead against Deportivo in Cl back in 2003 . Still, Ancelotti stayed didn't he and is regarded as a Milan legend . You see how your own logic backfires

If you asked Barca fans here or around the World or even just in Barcelona right now if they would take Pep back tonight or continue with Valverde, more than 90% of them would take Pep back in a heartbeat.

None of those results compare to losing a 3 goal advantage to Roma.
He lost 0-4 while trying to recover from a 0-1 from the first game. Two early Ramos goals and the game was already over, and it was against Real Madrid not AS Roma.

The come back thin gis bad for the fans, but truth is 4-4 is way better than 5-0.
And Roma was probably 3rd best team in CL last season. They have been top of group against Chelsea and AM and tough opposition against every other team.
Never mind that Bayern team was far above last seasons's Barca. Pep himself was hated by Bayern fans ever since and yet their board tried to keep him.

Pep is a much better manager than Valverde, not even debatable. But it wasn't Pep vs. Valverde. Was an example which showed double standards. Losing with a treble-winning side 5-0 to Madrid is somehow 'shit' which 'happens', but going out vs. Roma by an away goal is worth sacking. It was a shameful defeat, but people shouldn't let personal preferences blind them.

No it isn't overrated, his only fault was getting destroyed by Barca and Madrid in the CL semifinals but even after Pep left Bayern kept being knocked out by Spanish teams.

He got knocked out by Liverpool and As Monoco as well . Neither of the teams are superior to Man city .

They aren't superior to city apart from the front three they didn't had any player to match the class of KDB ,silva , Gundagon , Kompany , Ederson . Even though Liverpool had a great front three , you have seen how MSN got wrecked without a proper midfield . City had that still sulked against Liverpool

Real wasn't getting destroyed . Real always plays like that .Phases in which they allow opponents to dominate and then boom they will score . It's been pattern since Zidane took over . Only Ancelotti's Real dominated opponents left right and center . There were phases in which Salah was looking dangerous ,but lacked the precision in the final third when Real faced Roma in 2016 . Bayern , PSG , Juve , Atletico ( After carrasco equalised), Napoli in 2017 till Ramos scored the brace all had their moments against Real . In the end Real triumphed . Even with Salah they wouldn't have won the final . Too much quality in that Real side.
