He's 20 years old so its inevitable that he will run into issues with inconsistent form and adjustment with the tactics but with that price tag, I don't think he'll get the luxury of casual fans being patient with him.

Devils my friend, I really like your optimism but I felt you are hyping him a bit too much. He is still raw and he definitely will need time, otherwise you will be really disappointed. Please don't expect him to have an immediate impact right away.

Let's hope he takes his time to learn and progress.

Dembele is a special talent. People will need to temper their expectations because he is still a 20 year old moving the one of the biggest clubs ever. There will be growing pains and periods of adaptation, and plenty of time where he will incur the wrath of fans.
However the talent is undeniable.

From watching him I can tell he has plus skills in:

Speed
Dribbling
Vision
Cut-and-shoot
Body feints

That's a very impressive offensive skillset for a 20 year old.

Areas in need of work/growth:

Decision making
Shooting
Defensive contribution
Off ball movement

Sound familiar? Pretty Neymar-esque circa 2013. Except I believe Dembele has better body feints and cut-and-shoot skills, while perhaps lesser dribbling skills.

This is a player who will frustrate some early with his decision making and goal scoring conversion rate, but will cause a lot of trouble for opponents having to deal with him in wide areas.

Neymar was much more proven and established than Dembele. l can understand the hatred regarding him, but he is still the second best player after Messi and he will be.

He has the potential to become best in the world. If he improves his decision making, he will be very dangerous.Training with messi and iniesta should also speed up his development. I know it is unlikely, but I would love to see him win the ballon dor before neymar.
