What is his strength? Based on that we can define a new position for him.

He cannot defend. He cannot shoot. He cannot dribble. He cannot tiki taka. He can only cross.

Wrong team. Out.

He was very good at drifting centrally from wide positions at Leeds.

He'll be sold back to the PL in the summer for sure. Still maintains a good reputation there.

This dude and Ferran (and most probably Fati) need to be sold asap - sorry, but no matter how much time we give them they simply don't have the talent to become as good as we need players to be in Barcelona. I hope Xavi understands it as well and we're already scouting (lol, who am I kidding - sure we 'scout' but we fucking suck at it) some youngsters and free players that will suit our style and needs.

Said it at time.. Raphinha and Dembele are completely different players and Raphinha would end up the back up and when he gets chances it would be in system built for the better player in Dembele.

Thats exactly where they are at now.

Barca bought a good player and dont play to his strengths and have a better players ahead of him.

Raphinha, Torres and Fati must all be on a sticky wicket now.

True, they're both good at creating chances but its hard for Raphinha to impress with this tactics as he's not an elite dribbler compared to Dembele and dribbling is needed to excel in the system of Xavi's right wing.

He is a decent dribbler but more one who wants to get inside into more 'chaotic' situations trying to commit defenders who have other players inside to contend with and take advantage of oppostion mistakes in that chaos.

What he isnt is a touchline winger like Dembele who is happy to isolate and front up one or two players out wide and go at them... those defenders know he cant really go on outside and just show him in and usual two men.

Him and Dembele are polar opposites.

Put him on the market. If a good offer arrives, sell. There's a good chance he'll always gonna be a pure counter-attacking player.

He plays as if he has no idea about positional football. Like asking a French guy learn Chinese.

Xavi speaks with his selections, not with his words. His praises are like Peps on cocaine, to the degree of being a parody.

Ferran, Eric, Raphinha and probably Kessie days are numbered. Especially with the looming salary cap problems coming.

LaLiga need to relax them (they won't) so we can get top dollar for our sales, otherwise they will cost us millions in devaluation through desperation.

But on a sporting side. Are we losing any quality if those 4 left and Chadi Riad (Eric 5th choice center), Asensio (Ferran), Thuram (Raphinha) and Kamada (Kessie) come in?
