That is the point.
Dembele is our best LW, and arguably our best RW.
Difference is Raphinha is legit RW, we have no legit LW.
Xavi got it right at first, and he made changes for sake of change.
Defense was the one that needed change.

He's a good player and I like him, but don't think he would be the right pick. He's not the quickest player and we need that + someone who can consistently get past a player 1v1.

He is a good player, though not in his best patch of form, and not fully comfortable with the team yet. He was bad today till the goal. After the goal he created, I think his confidence really grew because he started playing much better, and I didn't agree with him being subbed off.

He?s quick. He can go past multiple players at once. Not sure he is Barca quality yet though.

When our team isnt in an injury crisis, Araujo, Kounde are starters and Christensen is a very reliable 3rd option. Garcia is useful if played in cup games or vs bottom table fodder to rest starters. He is a 5th choice or worse. Either way, finding a cheap reliable 4th CB isn't as high a priority as signing a proper RB and LB if they arent going to put faith in Balde.
DM > RB > LW > LB > CB for me.
We also need a CM because Gavi just isnt starter material and I dont even know what to say about Kessie. Why they thought he would fit into our squad is beyond me.
Pedri, De Jong and a proper DM is a solid midfield at least, Gavi just offers absolutely nothing other than work rate and pressing. Which is great, but it can't be the only thing you do. He isnt good in tight spaces, cant dribble opponents, doesnt have pace for runs, lacks height to defend and he isnt creative with his passing either.
Gavi is a great squad player, he isnt a CL starting CM though.

His consistent failed attempts to beat defenders show he doesn't have enough spatial intelligence, very average IQ but so is Dembele. At least Fati's smart but Xavicross will continue to cripple his talents.
Raphina going past multiple players at once ?
he's been mostly back passes, side passes or blind crossings with his left.
Dembele is the only Barca player that can win static 1v1's on regular basis more or less.

He is like Alexis Sanchez now. Always has an amazing action in him or a great goal, but he needs to be more consistent, like he is proving he can be for Brazil. Xavi doesn't help with consistency issues either, just play him RW for some games in a row and don't take him off the first.
