He's 3 goal contributions away from matching messi, for G.C in a single CL season for Barcelona.

Scored the most goal in a CL season from a Brazilian

I had underestimated him earlier.

He's actually at 46 G + A this season, in 41 games.

With top tier workrate and big game performances.

Elite specimen.
That is what makes this so crazy, usually when a player is really hard working in attack they don't have the energy to make big plays, but what we are seeing from Raphi is breaking football.

No injuries either. Barely even rests.

It would be a tragedy if he misses out on Ballon Dor because this is surely his time to win it. Pedri and the others will have their turn but this season should go in the record books. (With that said, Gavi should have backed him up, in the post-game he said Pedri should win it when they asked him)..

Eh, don't mind that, Gavi and Pedri are clearly very close so ofc he'll support his friend.

I'll only say one thing though, if Raphinha would have a season like this playing for Madrid he would already win BDO.

I think it could be really good if flick plays him as a striker next season with a new speedy tricky left footed winger on the left. Most of the time he's in the central areas anyway he doesn't really operate on the wing that much. If you play him as a striker with another winger you can give them freedom to switch around and cause chaos. I think that would be better than getting a new striker.
