Hate to say it but Masche is one of our weakest links. Been abysmal in defense for the most part this season. BMG had a questionable pen call today while Masche trying to take the striker's legs out from behind nowhere near the ball. Umtiti was the one dueling with him but Masche wanted to take out his legs. Completely abandoned his position for Johnson's throughball chance too, practically handed it to them on a platter.

In the Clasico as well, Masche nearly gave them 2 legit pen calls and got humiliated by Ronaldo with that dirty meg. His defending ability has been completely absent, often getting embarrassed and then trying to foul the shit out of the opponents as some sort of consolation. Thank god for Pique and Umtiti. Masche needs to be a staple on our bench until he gets his shit together.
