Couldnt have been worse than Gavi in a lot of these games.

Nearly impossible to be that bad at times when Gavi is makling 11 passes and giving ball away more than anyone.

Needs to go on loan to see what he is capable of at this level and keep value up at very least to move on if no place for him.

Lenglet despite not being great at Spurs has probably held some kind of value to get rid of him this summer.

Cucurella 'loan' was good for him.. but meant a fee rather than a move back.

Our loan strategy has improved a lot in past year(s) tbh. Maybe with the exception of Dest they were mostly places where the player fits.
Nico was unlucky with injuries, he was progressing steadily under Gattuso.
Villarreal seems like "too big" of a move for Torre tbh
