Don't know why people are surprised.
AC is good but doesn't help us much if he's hardly ever fully fit. Also only has 18 months left on the contract so have to make a decision either to sell or renew which I wouldn't do with his injury history.
I don't know how Tah would do here but he has not missed a game due to injury for years (now watch him tore his ACL in first training if we sign him, lol).
Also not sure if we'll be able to sign him in January but maybe Leverkusen will prefer to get at least something and sell him to us rather than lose him for nothing to Bayern. But ofc in the end it all depends on where Tah wants to play.
1) Hardly ever fit??
His longest injury so far in his career has been this one.
1 month absent in total in 23/24, 2 months absent in total in 22/23
2) Tah is a level or two below Christensen. Good passing ability, but can't read the game defensively like Andreas.

Same passing %, but Andreas has:
more xG+xA per 90 min
more sCA per 90
more Tackles won per 90
more interception per 90
more blocks per 90
No comparison between them really
3) contract is another story. We can offer him a new one, since in 18 months Lewy and Frenkie who are the biggest wage burdens won't be here anymore
In any serious squad planning, you don't sell Christensen to keep Inigo, no matter how good he has been this season.
Inigo was an emergency solution this period, and will be gone soon due to age
when Araujo is fit or when we buy a proper RB he will be behind 2 or 3 other CBs in the pecking order
