Definitely our most underrated signing so far. Not as aggressive or physically imposing as Araujo, but a smart guy with good awareness, enough speed and solid defending fundamentals. Like I said earlier, was an absolute no brainer on a free that would be a significant on all our defenders form last season bar maybe Araujo.

Has held his own so far, and would prefer this guy over Garcia any day of the week. Any CB pairing of Kounde, Araujo and AC will be solid enough for important games.
Problem now is our RB and attack. Xavi needs to find a way to get more out of both Raphinha and Dembele while both are playing, I don't have faith in any of our other wingers unfortunately.

Nah, Lenglet did quite well in first season under EV. And I think he'd do even better if he'd play alongside an athletic beast like Araujo instead of oldie Pique.

Tru, Lenglet actually had a decent spell for us. They kind of remind me of each other. Comfortable on the ball. Calm and dead facial expression. With the big difference that Christensen actually can control his arms.
