Flick may try him at RB and do a Kimmich when everyone comes back. We have no cover at RB now since Flick doesn't rate Fort (yet)

The good news is he is proven himself to be a very reliable player. Which gives Flick way more confidence in the squad rotation.

Without this crisis come the business end of the season we would never know if Casado could be trusted.
