Once our best players come back in the midfield, this guy will probably be warming the bench. Which is good for his developement and good for our depth. Of course, barring any more injuries (unlikely:angry:)

The good news is he is proven himself to be a very reliable player. Which gives Flick way more confidence in the squad rotation.

Without this crisis come the business end of the season we would never know if Casado could be trusted.

Now we do.

A fit Frenkie will be world class under Flick. We already seen everyone else's improvements.

Only players who have been more or less the same are Stegs and Kounde.

Chillll with that word.

He'll have to learn some positional play and tactical discipline from the great Casado first.

None of really improved under him, they are all just continuing where they left off last season/in the summer.

OR in the case of balde and pedri when they were last actually fit.

Peope forget how good pedri was when he gets good run of games.

They team is just playing better more attacking football.

Not trying to take anything away from flick, but the improving players individually just really what's happening.

So don't expect "world class" de jong, it will end how it always ends.

He "should" benefit from the system flick is playing though, in theory.
