17 - Marc Casadó

Tragic to lose him in any event but timing is not fortuitous for anyone at the club. There is no depth to cover his absence either, for me.

  • Fermin - Great attitude and engine not unlike his best mate Gavi but not a DM or his skill set
  • Frenkie - Not a DM much less a player that will bring Marc's tenacity as a ball hound to win duels
  • Gavi - Similar mentality and tenacity but a recovering Gavi is not yet his former self and really more a 6 than a 4 but he'd be the guy to turn to, for me
  • Eric - The other option is to use him there but he's untested as a ballwinner
  • Pablo Torre - His time to shine?

Not even a whistle much less booking for the foul causing injury

Good luck recovering. Hopefully, this didn't impact is abilities.

We can try Eric or Gavi, even Christensen when fit. Hopefully, this doesn't cost us titles.

Other than Frenkie Christensen is the likely the best option. Yet he’s never available.

Excellent news from mundo deportivo, hope it's true

Marc Casadó does not need surgery on his knee. Barcelona think he could return before the end of the season.

Looks like he could've partially torn his MCL in that action.
How is that not a foul? Incredibly dangerous to bomb into someones standing leg like that

If there is a part in the pitch we have depth in it's midfield. Imagine if this happened to Rapaha or Yamal. Next season we should reinforce attack because injuries happen and it could cost titles. We are extreamly lucky so far injuries only concerned MF and CBs.. where we basically have the numbers.

If you look at the stats - takles and interceptions per 90 minutes - he's better than Frankie.

1.5 VS 3.8.

He's also as good as Frankie in terms of progressive passing.

Terrible loss. We've lost our tactical flexibility. It's a shame.

FDJ was the clear starter anyway but behind him and Garcia was coming in before Casado a few times already.

That will most likely be the the two. Can't see likes if Gavi in more defensive role. Flick would most likely put Pedri there before Gavi if situation forced a choice of the two.

Can see Gavi being used to rest players in games won there but not much when in balance.

Need to keep Frenkie healthy for the important games and use Garcia/Gavi to rest him.
