We were winning and were in a pretty good streak. Until the slump in Nov-Dec, we were the best team, played Vardrid, Bayern and otther top La Liga teams.
Cant be stressed it was the guy's first year in senior football. And was one of our best players on the pitch till we hit that slump in Nov.
He will be an asset and an amazing backup to both Pedri and Fdj next season.

He has done a good job in his first year but also folk look back with rose tinted specs as to how team were playing.

The best game Casado has had since the Supercopa was beside Frenkie. Him and Pedri together not been great this year and were not great in Nov/Dec domestically at least.

Not just Casado but Bernal who would have played alot.

Flick is doing a marvelous job considering we have effectively had 2/4 pivots for the majority of the season and had to make do with Eric Garcia there. Eric Garcia who in all likelihood is not as good as the Dane there- another one missing.

Christensen while not being missed in terms of results, has been a massive miss this season and last season TBH with all his constant injuries

Fully convinced he would be playing on equal footing with Martinez and Cuba right now.

Could also play Pivot better that Garcia like you said.

Christensen was over rated at pivot. Covered but that is about it.

Would be similar to Garcia level this season there.

On Casado I genuinely can barely think of game he and Pedri played well together in the last 6 months bar maybe Supercopa.

He is an option when all else fails but dont think he was better last season than Garcia has been this. Both looked limited there as would expect.

But yeah.. would struggle to have both Christ and Olmo in squad anyway.

Big Laporta would have felt figured something out.

Remember he doesn't lose.

But it everything has worked out so far, hopefully he can play apart during these final weeks

Was thinking that. But I think the major point to that is Garcia being pivot (in a double) under Flick.

Fair chances Christensen is better there under Flick too.
