19 - Lamine Yamal

He needs a proper buddy on that right hand side, like when Messi had Dani Alves.

The only one that understands him is Fermin, whenever he comes on he links up beautifully and he supports yamal.

The other (older) players still have not accepted that a 16 year old is more talented then them.

Man, what a talent he is. Give him some proper support and he should be able to carry the game in a couple of years.
That said, being so young, and having seen so many young talents coming up in Barca over the years, who amount to nothing, I have learned my lesson. I will be skeptical and hope he improves his physic, ability, and mentality, then only he can achieve all the stuff that has been touted for him. Messi was a once-in-a-generation talent who was top-tier around Lamine's age, so I will wait and see.
Also, the club needs to do everything to keep him and keep him fit. I don't have much faith in our current management to do this.

Thread highjack. Olmedo impressed me today.

Only watched bit of the BA game as my stream was laggy and then eventually died so I gave up.

Great to see Olmedo doing well. I've seen Mika with a pretty big mistake which should end with a goal. How did he do overall? And Bernal?

Fine outside the mistake. Just a really braindead error considering ball would have been a throw in.

Bernal was ok. Best mid was Moha who has improved a ton over the past 12 months.

Fermin played a couple decent balls to him yesterday but then immediately runs inside leaving Yamal with three or four defenders between him and the next teammate. Total insanity to expect Yamal to Messi all defenders for an assist, he needs players like Puig to combine with him, not leave him out to dry, with inshas his only option via gimpball.

This is just so sick.

Ideally, they sell Yamal and pay off some debt, in reality what will happen is all the money will be blown on useless dimwits that are overpriced by 200%. The possibility this will end up like the Neymar for Coutinho and Dembele disaster is highly likely with the current idiots running the club. And Barcelona has a history of replacing world class players with rubbish crap, examples include Figo for Petit and Overmars and Maradona for Archibald and Hughes. Also Ronaldo was replaced with Dugarry and Anderson. both completely useless.

Would rather sell half the team than sell Yamal.

Players like him don't grow on trees and are way more valuable, especially in a club like Barca where history proves money will not be spent very well.

If you're really desperate for some money just sell Frenkie, Araujo and a couple of other players.

I'd also rather they go bankrupt and have to sell the club to whatever billionaire or state that want to get involved than become a glorified Borussia Dortmund.

if the rumor is true, and even if yamal never improves and is proved to be another wasted talent, we shouldn't even consider it. Because then we become a selling club for survival and that is irreversible.
Our home grown players should be tried here first.
