19 - Lamine Yamal

The form of our forwards has suffered a dip in recent games, which is why it's important that in the end Yamal and Raphinha managed to work hard in the 2nd half and come up with just enough quality on the final pass to help us get this vital win, along with Olmo's and Ferran's big impact on finishing those chances like pros of course. The team realized that over the season you can't score 4-5 every match. Clean sheets are also good lately.

It is a good sign we're picking up points now when the football is not quite at the standard it was some months ago. While we work hard to recover our attacking output.

It can happen to players much more experienced and professional than Lamine to have a patch of 2-3 bad games. Lewandowski and Raphinha were much, much worse than him yasterday yet I see no alarms for their attitude. Poor touches, misplaced passes and questionable decisions - especially on a pitch as bad as this one, it's nothing that alarming. He was fantastic for the most part of this season, he has 16 G/A in the league and I hope we all understand his performances and his presence are a little beyond that.

Let's hope his bloody foot will heal in time for Atleti on Tuesday. We need our attack in top form, as the only thing lacking in the last duel was the scoring part.

Difficult to see a cut that bled that much healing in 3 days.

Especially for the purpose of high impact ball kicking.

Worse if there was any damage to the toe nails or nail folds.

Every time he touches the ball, you know he can create something.
Team needed some magic… et voilà!
Stunning assist, decisive once again.
Impressive once again.
Btw 8.6 (motm) rating on whoscored

We need Neymar here to talk him out of the move

‼️PSG think they can convince Lamine Yamal with a massive amount of money.

Number 1 reason to sign Neymar is the out of pitch influence he can ground and mentor Yamal to prevent him making the same mistakes

Bro he will never go to PSG ( or at least not before 30)

In Neymar's case he wasnt the superstar of the team but he wanted to become the leader of the team (+money ofc) so it made sense to go to PSG

In Lamine's case he is already the superstar with only 17, there is no reason why he should go to PSG

And think signing his close friends like Nico would rather keep him at Barca than Ney

Right now, Lamine Yamal earns the minimum a first team Barcelona player can earn.

He earns more from bonuses than his base salary.
