Only thing missing (relatively speaking, and highest standards here) from Yamal's game is raw athleticism.

He is such a silky operator with such a high ball IQ but all the GOATs in their prime had some off the charts physical attributes. R10 in his prime years at Barca 04-06 was a monster physically. Elite agility and strength and pace too.

Messi level is impossible, but trophy wise for barca it might be it. This team is so young, and if everything goes according to what football talent we have, we might hit another golden era that could last more then the last one. All of our current core players except lewa and inigo have just entered in their prime while others are couple of years away from that. Finally

But Messi had generational luck with injuries considering how often he was fouled. Lamine will face similar kind of beating from opponents. I truly hope he can have similar kind of luck and avoid any major injuries in his career. Who knows what kind of numbers he can put on when he is 25.
