Didn't you like Olmo, BBZ?
Haaland part is BS, but he's out of our reach these days.
Olmo is ok.
But as others have wrote here, he doesn't look like Barca level of a player.
Or, to be more precise: he doesn't look like a player from Barca's glory days when we were on top of Europe.
Today, he looks closer to a level of: 3rd placed Barca than to CL winners Barca.
If we had 500m to spend, I wouldn't mind buying him and testing him.
But since we already have eternal Busi, young Pedri, young Puig, your Eric and possibly young Olmo, that is slightly too much Barca DNA for me.
In 1992, we won a CL because of Barca DNA paired with superstar talent of Stoichkov, Laudrup and Koeman.
In 2006, we won because of best La Masia generation ever paired with aliens Ronaldino, Etoo and young GOAT Messi.
In 2009 and 2011, we won because of the best La Masia generation ever paired with prime Goat Messi + Etoo, Henry / Villa.
In 2015, we still had ageing La Masia generation paired with the most expensive attacking trio ever: MSN.
So, having Barca DNA as a core is not bad.
But Barca DNA alone won't win titles without superstar players like Ronaldinho, Etoo, Messi or Stoichkov.
Now, in this story about Pedri, Puig, Ansu, Eric, Olmo = where is the superstar talent?
On top of all, you know my theory that football has evolved towards more direct, lethal, physical football.
So, Olmo paired with Haaland, fine.
But Olmo alone? Meh.
Also, we don't have money to sign anyone, we are selling 10 players but they always seem to.find money for another Barca DNA player.
Also, I didn't like that comment from an author about overrated Haaland, yet we need to sign another "more of the same" type of a midfielder.
