Some poor provocations from the people :p

So Chelsea players did not show heart? Why so? Because of the ultra-defensive tactics which they've probably used most after the fall of catenaccio ignoring Mourinho's teams?

You can't also win on talent all the time. I doubt when all the greats are gone Barca the team will rely on cantera. Talents come and go. Some teams don't produce enough of them and have to build around what they have using money. Some teams have more of these and buy less. Would people hate City for winning the cup if they showed uttermost class while doing so despite being built solely on money (ignoring the fact that most people will root for them because they dislike United)?

You wanted an answer, I gave you one of the reasons, and also hinted as to why they were not underdogs (being financially doped). That they play unattractively and have quite a few d-bags (Terry, Cole)nin their team helps, too. They've also had loads of "luck", beating REAL underdogs on the way.

all of Chelsea's shitty CL luck since Abramovich took over returned to them in spades this season. they should have been beaten soundly in every game they played in the KO rounds, but they somehow scraped through every one thanks to some staggeringly poor finishing from their opponents.

all you can say is congratulations. especially to Drogba, Cole, Cech and Ramires who were all outstanding on their run.

oh, and John Terry is an utter, utter cunt.

as if you change into full kit and mess your hair up to make it look like you played. what a wanker. tried to steal a spot in the glory shot too but thankfully Boswinga stole in ahead of him and blocked him out. a result of Boswinga's own glory-hogging nonsense, perhaps, but a favourable result for sure.

Terry's the perfect choice of Captain for that club, though. did you see them all jostling for position in the middle of the podium, and looking at themselves on the screen? what a vapid collection of narcissists.

WTW.

Sure, Drogba wasnt super except for the epic goal, Chelsea took the penalties, and it was 1-1. But still. You could sum up the game like that and blame some misstakes.

Funniest part of this game is that there is a Swedish Journalist living and dying (mostly dying) with Tottenham. He proclaimed that Chelsea would win this no matter what, because thats how god threats Spurs, nothing else matters. And sure as hell, Bayern where up with a few minutes left of the game. They missed a penalty in overtime. And why not, while we are at it: the germans lost a penalty shootout. And Spurs missed CL.

Ammar and Dalitis! :worthy:

Niva? ;)

Not an underdog of the whole CL, just an underdog from the teams that were left in the crucial stage of the competition.

Couldn't be bothered to watch anything past the final pk. Chelsea were terrible and anti-football won tonight on the biggest stage. Sad day for football. I guess we can expect a whole bunch of planes parked in front of goal next season with those performances passed off as heroic or brave.

Exactly, he has made so many articles about the fact that he hardly even likes fotball, he hates it, it kills him, spurs kills him. I laughed when he concluded that it was impossible for Bayern to win this game, and I laughed even more when they missed their PK and then lost in a shootout against an english side.

Spurs: the only factor that could break Chelseas curse.

the game went exactly how I expected, almost every single action

I'm realizing that in football some things are just already written

I just forgot about Robben. Choked big time in the league, and then the CL. Surely he 'll be put on sale now.

I think he renewed the contract... even after Ribery bitch slapped him (He probably wanted to exploit the situation, with only a year left in the contract he could have dictated the terms!!), but then he probably choked per usual

Glad I was out dancing and missed the travesty. Tbh. don't know if I would have watched it even if I had been home.
They can take their "heroics" and shove them where the sun don't shine.

if it were a great defensive display i would accept it, but not this
I know right!? If some body said Bayern had it coming for the poor strike rate... How about Chelsea!? How do they deserve the title!? It's not like they did not concede chances!!

Congrats to the Chelsea supporters here !

Although I dont like that ultra-defensive interpretation of the game, it's a deserved victory, and all in all, a deserved title. Chelsea were lucky a few times, but well, one just has to be to win titles.
Also, contrary to popular opinion, this was not a coward approach. It actually takes balls to stick to a defensive set-up when the most important defenders are missing. Di Matteo did an awesome job considering the little time he had. He will probably be one of the future greats; really there's something about this fella ... Roman is an assclown if he doesn't give this guy a contract now.

Again, Congrats, but... next year, it's our turn again.
