Not goggles , Int. competition has nothing to do with our players... I'm half French man so i watch the team all the time and i cheer them (until they meet Italy but that's another story ) anyhow
... the thing is ...I believe a lot to do with Benzema character himself , i posted before the report of Mourinho on Benzema and Ozil and their reaction to competition for places (checl Ozil thread ) .. both players are way affected in form when facing competition for places and i believe that's what the rise/presence of Giroud did...
Lolo was better man manager than Didi (you saw what he did with Gourcuff in Bordeaux and under him Benzema was doing great ) , Didi is not like that..he is more like Capello in terms of the best will play and doesn't have any favorites so Benzema feeling the competition from Giroud could have affected Benzema national form
I find no reason for this drought except to relate to Jose words because Benzema is still doing a lot better with Real Madrid ...
and FYI i hated Benzema for so so long and when we signed him i was literally fuming.. he won me over the season Higuain fell to injury prior to that my opinion was a wasted 35 Million

Giroud is much better for the finch national team. Benzema is lazy and if he isn't man managed perfectly he will fail

That much is true but Giroud without Benzema he always seem lost...
Hope Gignac can find his national team form it's been a long long time ..
Anyhow i don't have that much faith in Didier... for my money Lolo Blanc was way better in everything.. .alas

Blanc is a terrible manager in my opinion. Look what happened in euro 2012 with nasri for example. He has done some good things though in qualifiers for France and when he was at Bordeaux.

As for giroud. I think he can play without benzema as the only striker. He has good understanding and team play with ribery, valbuena and the rest of the attacking midfielders.

Gignac, forgot about that guy. The last time he was evn half good was 2010.

Nasri issues are Nasri issues not Blanc, this is the troubled generation bar none... the current and the generation before it are becoming infamous for fights than achievement (Anelka , Evra etc )
But he is a much better man manager than Didier & for national teams you need man management because those players don't train week in week out with you... i haven't seen a proper match under Didier since he too move

Giroud alone don't do much...see the current chance & the header before it... you think he would be great alone but so far he didn't convince me on the national level
Gignac i have a soft spot for him

It's a shame their attitude stinks of shit because this generation beat the Spanish generation at the youth tournament in the early 2000's. They were more than capable of achieving but instead decide to fight and swear at reporters, have sex with underage prostitutes and immature behaviour like ribery refusing to pass to gourcuff because he didn't come to his party.

Nice to know you got the forum back online too.

Sooner or later people will realize Benzema is not the problem , he is the solution
the problem is mainly and only Deschamps , he can't do a national team .. club yes
